You know,with all of the retro uniform games this season,I never realized how hideous a lot of those old uniforms were. The Jets wearing their old "New York Titans" uniforms,The K.C. Chiefs wearing their old "Texans" uniforms,& you gotta love those socks,the Denver Broncos retro uniform this past Sunday.
I never would have guessed that they were the Broncos because of the blank helmets.
It is interesting to actually see how these uniforms looked because of the fact that they only had Black & White TV back then. At least,I don't think the games were broadcast in color,just B&W.
The Broncos looked like they needed brown leather helmets on like in the 1930's-40's.
You know,I actually wonder now how those old football uniforms actually looked with the leather helmets & no face masks.
