i am having a real problem finding a voip that works with wildblue internet through dishnetwork. there is alway a delay. i found ooma and would like to know if anyone has it using a satellite? and, does it work?

The problem is not the voip service it is sat inet. You will always have a delay no matter what you go with. I seen it work if you can live with the delay, but it gets mighty annoying.

Remember your signal has to go out 22,300 miles to the satellite then 22,300 miles back to the ground and the same return trip for sound to get back to you plus any processing time. Not really much of a delay but enough it will always be there.
