Possibly. I have a thread on this issue in this forum.
I did have some response from the E* team, but they really did not have a full answer. The engineer that discussed it with me said he was getting the same type of connection attmept notices from his ISP, so I know that there is some awareness to this issue. Brittany Garden was helpful to get me in contact with the engineering team, but this still seems to be an ongoing issue.
My ISP blocks these attempts pretty much everyday. Sometime multiple times a day. These are only attempts to connect to my Hopper3.
I have a theory that this is possibly related to Dish Anywhere. Not sure if there is any easy fix, but it would be nice if they could clarify this issue.
