Hey guys , would dish notice i opened my 722? Im having problems where the push buttons on the front of the receiver dont stick out anymore. and i wanted to see what happened.

I don't think that there are any tamper-proof seals on the cover...so you should be OK. I think they do put them on the hard drive. Also, I have read posts from others who have taken the cover off because of heating issues.
I have had my receivers 2-Vip622s and 2-Vip612s and I have opened them to blow the dust out to try to make them last longer and to help with cooling and I never noticed any tamper switch or any thing. It is a good thing to do to blow all the dust out of the fans and out of electronic equipment to help keep them running and cool.
