Optimum Homes features tens of thousands of real estate listings for sale or rent across the New York metropolitan area. Each listing includes detailed factual information, color photos, updates on open houses and one-click access to the listing agent. The service also features other critical buyer resources like neighborhood information and recent home sales in the area.

"Optimum Homes has attracted the attention of home buyers across the New York metropolitan area, for good reason," said Dermot McCormack, Cablevision's senior vice president for interactive advertising and development. "The convenience of shopping for a home without leaving the couch, with full-screen color images and additional information available with a click of the remote is an unbeatable combination that uses the power of our fully-interactive cable service to bring the home buying experience into the twenty-first century."

A free "Member Center" feature allows customers to create a desired home profile and receive e-mail alerts when properties that match their unique profile come on the market. Member Center users can also save the results of home searches for viewing later or with other family members, and access those same saved searches through a companion Web site at www.optimumhomes.com

Optimum Homes is a follow-up to Cablevision's successful Optimum Autos interactive car shopping service, available to iO digital cable customers on channel 605 and also with a companion Web site at www.optimumautos.com. Featuring more than 50,000 new and used car listings from more than 300 dealers across the region, Optimum Autos includes multiple color photos for each listing and one-click dealer contact. In addition, Optimum Autos features hundreds of promotional video on demand clips for specific manufacturer models, including a new on-demand promotional campaign for the Ford Explorer and Fusion models.

"With Optimum Homes and Optimum Autos, we've been able to evolve the postage stamp-sized classified ad into a compelling and a fully interactive product description, presented in color on the big screen of television, with multiple views, a wealth of additional relevant information and video enhancements," said Gary Schanman, vice president, Optimum Classifieds. "The response from Optimum customers and advertisers to these new services has been enormously positive and consistent with the real value that Optimum Homes and Optimum Autos represent."
