OTA channel (5.11 UpdaTV) causes lock-up every time

I am in Boston area and there is a non-working OTA channel which causes a lock-up every single time when I flip channels through it. It happens if I stay on this channel more than half second. An obvious work-around was to hide the channel but the problem is this channels re-appears and I unknowingly flip the channels through it and of course, the STB freezes solid.

None of other channels that I hide re-appears but this channel keep coming back every couple of days or so. Any ideas?

You might try posting this on the VOOM/Yahoo forum. Wilt, VP for Cablevision engineering, reads (or at least to read) the forum on a regular basis and may have an answer for you.

Yes, this problem has been reported before. It seems to be specific to Boston.
Hiding the channel has helped others. I am surprised that the channel re-appears for you, though...
