Here's my setup:

Antenna ---> Pre-amp---> grounding block ---> Power Supply (Inside house) ----TV

I noticed a colleague has the opposite:

Antenna --> Grounding Block --> Pre-amp .....etc

Am not a fan of grounding blocks, I prefer to loosen up a bolt from the support mass and wrap a wire around it.

How's yours' grounded?

Cheers, K

Have you tried searching this topic has been posted soo many times and just about anything is done correct or not depending on the local standards.

Sometimes you also have to have the right key words to find what your looking for, if you don't come up with the magic words you end up with nothing out of the search. Sometimes searching has a catch-22

Agree... also a few "key words" can generate a dozen of so pages of results.

IMO, there should be 3 stickies in the OTA forum:

1- TV FOOL
2- UHF vs VHF/antenna types/Pre-amps/Amps
3- Install tips and techniques (wiring/grounding etc)

Cheers, K
