OTA module and 922

I haven't found any info on my question so am starting a new thread.

On the 922 do you have to download the new firmware before installing the OTA module (like on the 722K) or can it be installed before hooking up the 922?

(I hope my qustion is clear)

My install is monday (not really sure why I had to wait so long) so would like to know how it should be done.

I would think you would be fine to install and then download.

I actually did it that way on both of my 722K's and never had a problem.

My installer installed the module before hooking the 922 to anything else.
