I'm looking to purchase a HDTV receiver (for OTA reception only). Looking through ebay listings both OTA only receivers (such as Samsung SIR-T351) and Dish or Directtv HD integrated receivers are priced about the same.

Do OTA-only receivers have additional functionality with regard to over the air reception? Are they optimized for the free-channels?

Basically, if there is no advantage to getting a OTA-only receiver, it would obviously be advantageous to purchase one that can also decode one of the satellite companies (in case I decide to subscribe to them later.)

Any pointers about the features would be appreciated. THanks.
