I have two cables running for my dish to my 722. Can I add and OTA antenna outside by my dish and send the OTA over the cable that sends E* uses for its feed. My main TV is in the basement and I would like to get the HD locals on my TV. If I can do the above how would I do it?

DPP? don't know because I don't know what it is but, I have the 722 and they just installed a new dish last week. So maybe? I'm guessing I would use the diplexer right after the switch and then another at the 722.

You need two diplexors, one outside to stack the OTA signal into the satellite signal, and one indoors to unstack the signals.

Be aware that diplexing will cause some loss of signal strength. If you have marginal satellite or OTA signals they may be lost.
