So dish is telling me since I have hd free For life, movie pass dha and ecl commitments that my termination fee is 625.00. Does anyone know if this amount is right? So basically if it is, they make it impossible to get out early without paying that crazy fee.

That does sound on the higher end. Just keep in mind, if you are looking at switching check out what promo prices are after the promo is complete.

They just said oops my mistake its 225.00.

Judging by that price you are wanting out over a year early. Any particular reason why? Just keep in mind, the grass is not always greener on the other side, and if it is, chances are there's a septic tank underneath.

Depends on date of contract. He is obviously at $15.00. Do the math.

Ninja edit ;) .

While you do have to choose what's best for you and your viewing, just keep an eye on what the price might be.

Sorry....moving anywhere being down $225 is a dumb move.

I am going to run out of contract with Dish on march...
DO I need to do something?
I mean, I don't want another contract, if I do nothing I will be billed month by month?
Or they somehow make an automatic contract renewal?

It's a commitment based on a service. It doesn't renew. A new one doesn't start unless you add a new box or upgrade a box.
