hello all
I got my fta working..took me all day..but I really enjoyed it..My son was a big help..One question? How do I set the time..I change to the right time..shut it off. then back on..It goes back to Militery Time..

Thanks Randy :)

It has a real clock (I guess), but it uses military time (24 hrs.) only. I've been told that the Europeans use this type of time. I think the Pansat is made over there and that could explain it.

Anybody using the Pansat 3500s know if it keeps better time than the 2500A?

yes it does :)

The 3500 is a real time clock...the 2500/1500 used time in cycles, which is always off

and yes the clock is military :)

My Starchoice system's clock is 24H as well, at least on the front panel.. in the menu is 12H time.. And my address is in Ontario

The problem is when you Flash the transponder listing the time and date clock resetsl

same as when the power goes out or the unti shuts down...what's the point?

It only takes a minute to change the clock :)
