pansat2700a with motor setup

im trying to set up my pansat 2700a with hh90 stab motor ,when i search for sattelites without the motor hooked up to the dish i can locate a few sattelites like dtv5 or dtv 1 2 4 my signal is at 80 and quality is at 40 but when i hook up the motor my signal is at 35-40 and 0 quality even on the sattelites that i locate before.

Sounds like your dish is currently pointed at a DTV satellite. Because you are pointed at 1 dtv sat, the others will show quality because they are using the same freq/symb rate etc. Without a motor to move the dish that is the only satellite you will see.
