Paul Daley cut from UFC after 3rd round Bell punch

I dont know if you all saw this on the pay per view, but the punch was totally uncalled for and was out of frustration of loosing the fight. He threw the punch well after the 3rd round bell at his opponent. Technically it was an assault as it happened after the sanctioned part. It just came down on ESPN2 that he was officially cut a few min ago from Dana White himself and he will never grace the octagon again.


EDIT: the fight was scheduled for 3 rounds.

Koscheck said he was talking smack into the guy's ear when they were on the ground, and then the bell went off, and daley went ahead and threw the punch after being let up.

Koscheck said Daley was "oiled" up, said he could smell it.

I've never been impressed with this guy as a fighter, internet sensation. Just because he can hit like a ton of bricks, doesn't mean you can fight.

I imagine you will see Daley in Strikeforce in the near future. He's too good of a fighter to just be tossed to the side like that.
