I would just cancel and sign back up, you would get a better deal then.

And I would recommend the same for any provider.

If you have an EHD that is not a good idea. You would lose all of your recordings. You could do a mover and take your equipment with you, leaving the dish and LNB behind. You would get a free installation at the new address.

Only pause the service if you're not going to be able to use it for a longer period of time

If it's going to 6 months between the old residence and the new one pause is a good idea. It will cost you $5 a month to pause. A mover is a service that DISH has for just your circumstance.

Hey glennp. You would only need to take your receivers, and remotes with you. You are not required to take your antenna/lnb. When you pause the account the agent will advise you of such as well. -Kimberly H.
