Ahh, the Philco Predicta set. I never had one of those, but I made a Franken-TV from pieces from at least two TVs. It looked like something from a Terry Gilliam film, specifically Brazil.

Brazil! Excellent.

Alice's character on The Honeymooners was a strong woman. She stood up to Ralph. Ralph was demonstrative in gesture, but I really don't get how that program had violence...

To each their own...

Yellowstone: Land to Life

Back to PBS...

What an awesome show on Yellowstone that I recorded! "Yellowstone; Land to Life" and "Yellowstone's Cascade Corner".

I have enjoyed the shows on the History Channel about the super-volcano caldera at Yellowstone, but PBS does a better job at showing you the nature of the Yellowstone area and how it is today if you stepped into the area in person. The photography is just phenomenal. The History channel doesn't show it with such wonder.

The narration and the actual soundtrack as well as background music score is so calming and inviting, yet is still informative.

Ahhh! What a paradise of a landscape.
