Hi Guys,
What is a PCR? I am trying to manually set some channels on my Kusat 2600Pro receiver. It asks for three PIDs, PCR, Video and Audio.

I could not find where to find this PCR pid, on the http://www.lyngsat.com site, it does not show the PCR number.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Suibu

Pcr pid is usually the same as the v pid (pcr data is carried on the v pid). If the v pid setting doesnt work try setting pcr at 8191 or 8190.

While in many cases the PCR is the same as the V PID, that is in no way a rule of thumb. I've seen many carriers who have different PCR data. This is especially true on many atlantic region broadcasts and in SNG signals.
