William Petersen has joined the cast of the Independent film "Detachment. The movie revolves around a substitute teacher (Adrien Brody) who becomes invested in the school and students. Petersen will play a High School Teacher who shows a gay film in class to teach tolerance. Lucy Liu, Christina Hendricks, and James Caan have also signed on.
