philly locals

Anyone in the Philly area loose their locals? I was watching ch. 29 about 8:20pm tonight July 11, 2006 when I lost ch. 29. In fact I lost all of my locals. Still saw TCM, IFC, and AMC. This loss lasted some 15 minutes.

I thought it was my 522 so I cold booted it. Turns out that my 4900 also lost the locals. I had a strong signal of 96 on both receivers and not a drop of rain in the sky. Not even in the distance. Was this a problem with Dish? Was this a problem also with just the Philly area? All of our locals are on the 110 sat.

Oh yes the message on the screen on both receivers said that it had lost the signal from the satelitte. Believe that's error code 002.

I lost my local fox about that time. My upstairs receiver came back on it's own. This garbage 211 had to be hard rebooted (pull the plug)

I was watching CBS 3 and didn't lose anything. Maybe it was limited to FOX.

Didn't try every single local, but the ones I did were all missing. Believe I checked, 29,23,17, and 12.

As I said my new 522 and an old legacy receiver 4900 both lost the stations.

They both came back on their own.

Harrisburg FOX43 also out at that time last night. Perhaps a problem at the uplink center?
