Picking up 61.5.....

I'm new at this advanced Dish stuff, so please excuse me. I have 2 Dish 500 dishes with DP TWIN LNB's on them. I'm using one for 110/119 and the other is doing nothing. I can easily get a DP 21 switch. Is this enough to pick up 61.5 and the new VOOM channels (assuming LOS is not a problem)? If not, what do I need? TIA.

Will Dish 1000 make this all a waste of time and $

no. the proposed dish 1000 would be used to pick up a satellite at 129. A dish 1000 would not be able to pick up 119/110 and 61.5

The second dish you'll be putting up at 61.5 could also pick up any programming they put on 129 as long as you re-point it there.

*Opinion* I don't think 129 will be used for any national services, but rather more locals because 129 does not have good ConUS coverage
