Not sure how this works, but it sounds like it could be comparable to or better than a slingbox.

From a quick web search it seems to be a pretty good price.
 
Is the "Pinnacle PCTV To Go HD Wireless" any good?? They have them at WOOT for 150 bucks!!
 
Any idea how well something like this works with something like a Dish 622 DVR?

So will this actually let you record HDTV from the component inputs? I ask because I don't see anything that says it won't, but if it does it's the first affordable device I've heard of that does and I would've thought there would be more talk about it.
 
The Rachel Ray show gave one to all the audience this week and will give 5 to online entries. I thought this might make a good replacement for my vooms. $59 at CircuitCity. The tv guide and other stuff being put in the signal is causing rebooting and will eventually happen on all channels. This usb stick and remote turns a pc/laptop into a hddvr. Software turns out to be crappy according to reviews and the required tv guide is free for 90 days or a year, then $30 a month or year(?).
