This doesn't surprise anyone, they got out of the TV business a few years back ....
Many of the major Pioneer engineers moved on to other TV manufacturers.
A friend of mine has a Kenwood audio setup from the late 1990s and wanted to know if they could update to a new Kenwood AVR. I was surprised to see that Kenwood is only doing Ham and car audio systems now.
But Pioneer? Man, memories of walnut sided brushed aluminum stereos with blue lighting! Say it ain't so!
