Platinum remote and Sharp TV

I have the platinum remote and a Sharp TV and cant seem to use of the codes to work with the TV/Video button. I even tried a second paltinum remore. Am i the only one with this problem? Any suggestions? Right now I switch to alternate inputs using the channel up and down button.

You might check the Dish Network web site and see if there is any additional codes for Sharp TV's that you don't already know they add new codes from time to time.

If those codes aren't already stored in the chip that is in your remote control they won't do you any good.

The codes on E*'s website could be existing codes that they just recently tested on new tv's. Whatever the case, it's worth a shot.

Thanks. I was really hoping to hear from someone that owns a Sharp who might have overcome the same problem. but you don't always get what you want.
