Pocket Dish

Tech was moving fast in those days....The mini van had a VHS with surround sound.....was almost out dated by the time people heard of it......

I still have my pocket Dish. At the time it was very useful. Dish allowed export of their content long before others. Now my pocket Dish is gathering dust since my IPad and Iphone have replaced it. Dish seems to always be a leader when it comes to technology.

Yup. I had a 625 at the time which IIRC was one of the DVRs which could export to a Pocket Dish. I bought what I took to be a better model, an Archos 404CC, but alas my receiver wouldn't talk to it. I could record and play back VGA-quality movies with it, though, via the docking station. It had a dinky 30GB disk.
