Just got one in the mail today. It is damn big. I was really surprised that when I took it home my wife was very excited about it.

So far I love it. Most of what I record is HD content so I have to start recording SD so that I can transfer it over. It is very fast at transfering recorded content from my 942. A typical movie takes about ten minutes to transfer over. I just start the transfer then hit the "view TV" button on the 942 remote and watch regular tv while it transfers in the background. I still have to move some mp3's over and I also have collected a pretty large collection of music videos that I will transfer to it. I will probably just dump a huge portion of our digital pictures over onto it also. So far I haven't been able to find any games to play on it other than the demo's that come with it. On Archos website they have games but they are for a different model and I really don't care to waste $9.00 or so on a game that is not compatible.
One thing that I think is probably necessary for this is an additional battery. The one that comes with it is supposed to last about four hours which is fine for the average flight. If you are traveling cross country it would really suck to have your battery die on you in the middle of the flight. I am a little whacky about extra batteries though - I have them for everything I own.
I will let you all know more as I get to use it more.

Find games for it is hard, you can't even find game for it at Archos.COM and the games they do have are terrible. If you find another site to get games let me know. 
What I'm wondering is that Dish says it will hold up to 40 hours of DISH Network satellite TV programming and record up to 160 hours of video. What is the diff?
