They both have L532, or is that a typo and the one that still works has L531?

Yes that was a typo, sorry about that. My dvr 522 has software L532. My dad's dvr 625 has software L531. And yes, the dvr software that still works with my pocketdsih is L531. My dvr worked fine with my pocketdish while it had L531, then the day they put L532 on the dvr the pocketdish no longer worked with it.

I noticed yesterday (7-22-2009) that my pocketdish AV700E and dvr522 are working fine together again. I now have software version L534GALD-N. Hopefully we won't have this problem again but i imagine we will after a few years because this is actually the 2nd time i have had to deal with this problem, the first time was in 2007
