I am having a ton of problems pointing my 1000.2. When I use DishPointer, it says to use 216/44.7/214.2 for the 1000.2 and my location. I am unable to find anything there. So, I started venturing away from 216. About 200, I get signal on 110. I am assuming that 110 is now coming through one of the other LNB's. Signal strength of 60 and unlocked on 119 and 129. I looked at my neighbor's antenna and it is approximately pointed the same as mine at close to 200. Any advice?

I am trying to do this with 2 Wally boxes if that matters.

The correct order for a 1000.2 is 119/110/129 on the diagnostics screen, or 129/119/110 when viewed from the back of the satellite dish. If you can figure out what LNB is currently receiving 110 we can try and deduce where you need to aim. Your zip would also come in handy to verify your settings, if you are willing to disclose that.

The easiest way to get a lock would be to cover the two side eyes with aluminum foil, leaving the middle one intended for 119 uncovered and then locking 119 in. Once you get 119, you can remove the aluminum and as long as your mast is plumb and the skew set correctly the other two satellites should come in.

SatFinder lite when I hold my phone on the back plate of the antenna says that I am pointed at 201 degrees 45 degree elevation. My skew is set to 210. When I run "test installation" I get all 3 satellites a green check box. On 110 transponder 6, I get a signal of 64. On 119 tr 4 I get a singal of 79. 110-4, no lock. 119-6, no lock. Nothing on 129. Zip Code is 75023

Ok, I covered up the outer LNB's with foil. I lost 110, but I still have 119 with a signal of 79.

I removed the foil and tried transponders 16-21.. best signal on trans 21. 63 on 110, 62 on 119 and 45 on 129. Are these signals sufficient for reception? I would test them out, but I need to contact dish to activate these boxes and the wait times are excessive.

Those signals should be adequate as long as you don’t have any heavy rain, ideally 110/119 should be above 70 but anything over 40 is functional. For 129 about 50 is ideal, 20 being the minimum.

At that signal, you could be hitting 129. I'd raise it a few notches and move back to the left.
Settings for your area are 44 Elevation, 120 Skew, 211 AZ

Yeah. I'd suggest you try to zero in on 119 for the center LNB and skew in for 110. Then see what 129 gives you for signal. Start with 119 and the dish at the suggested skew. Center LNB 119, Right is for 110, left is 129 looking at the sky from the rear of the dish. DishLNB.png
