I am trying to setup a dish 1000.2 dish to a Wally and a VIP211Z so I can view different programs on different receivers. Will the receiver combo work on this system? I have read somewhere that the 2 receivers are not compatible on same satellite.

It will work. That satellite has no idea what kind of boxes are connected to it. Just make sure that you’re using DPP LNBF and not a DPH.
