I just got a channel master OTA and rotor. Me and a friend installed it today but I don't think we aimed the antenna north (or @ 000deg.) How can I nail north down and do I need any special tools to do It?
Thanks,
Chuck

Honestly you do not need to know north with CM. They suggest it so you can dial in by the degrees of the compass.
After auto synching, start dialing in your channels and program the remote for the spot with best signal for that channel. You can lable by TV channel.

If you want to nail north, power down everything and clear the memory. plug in the unit and it should move to a synched position. Loosne the antenna and using a compas align the fron to north. retighten everything and begin programming.
