Installed this for a buddy today. Still have to figure out the Joey issue indoor or outdoor I only ran RG-6 and cat5 last year when they put there pool in. I would love to just use the component video from the hopper into an encoder and output via HD QAM. ($$$)

I did the same thing for my sister last weekend. Mounted a 39inch lcd on an articulating arm. It swings back flat to the wall when not in use and can be removed easily over winter. They have a Slingbox though, so we got a WDTV media player with the built in slingplayer app and they just sling HD video from 722 out to the patio/pool over wifi to the wdtv box.
