I heard some info about hooking up a 522 to a DP Quad from a tech. To avoid problems, I was informed to hook the two lines going to the 522 to ports 1,4 or 2,3 (as opposed to 1,2 or 3,4). If using a DP Twin with a 34 Switch, use the same sequence for hooking up to the receiver ports. Can anyone clarify this? What is the reason?

Yes, upon further review, the DP Quad does tell you to use port 1,2 or 3,4 when going to a DP34 switch. But, the question relates to hooking the 522 directly to the DPQuad or DP34 switch. I know each cable is getting the 110/119. So, why was it suggested to hook the 2 522 feeds to 1,4 or 2,3. Do you think it has something to do with the DP Quads internal 24 switch?

I use a 322 and na 811 and it's never made a difference for me, I just plug in three cables to the LNB...
