Possible to export 625 recordings to VHS?

I think it's just an urban legend. People used to record to a tape that degraded over time, in something that people said was analog. Could you believe it?

What about recording to an 8-track?

Ha-ha... some friends that were on vacation wanted to see some of the Olympic events they missed. I think there is about an inch of dust on my VCR!
