PPV events billed separately now?

I noticed my credit card that's sep up for auto pay was billed $54.99 from Dish. So I chatted with a CSR and was told it was for a UFC event that I ordered earlier this month. So when did Dish start billing these events separate from the rest of my programming? I've ordered many events in the past and it's always been billed with everything else.

It's really no big deal. I just thought it was odd, and also a little concerned I could be billed again later with the rest of my programming.

In my experience, the PPV and monthly charges come out in one lump sum unless the PPV was paid for up front.
