Ok, so I ordered Impact: Bound For Glory friday night from the MyDish site and it sent me a confirmation email. The event was supposed to air Saturday at 8pm. I was familiar with VIP receivers and knew they said Rented on the EPG. Well being new to my Hopper I didn't know if it had that on Hopper EPG and I was concerned that maybe it was supposed to have it and maybe outdated EPG didn't show it. I double checked my email etc... But was still concerned as the listing said "Rent" which I thought wad odd. So long story short I spent all day on chat yesterday trying to figure it out pretty sure that it wasn't going to play it on my receiver. They ended up telling me that there was a $30 credit on my account after payment and I would have to try to purchase it again (two reps told me that). I said pay $80 dollars for a $39.99 event?!?!. Eventually a rep found out (or claimed they did) that the purchased event ID didn't match the event ID I wad trying to watch. So if thats true, then there is a bug on the mydish site or someone has entered the wrong numbers for the events. So after a bunch of nonsense I finally got them to offer a refund for the event. So I figured I'd rent a cheap porn thing for $6.99 just because it's cheap and test it again. It did the same thing. It charged me but didn't unlock it.

So my question is has anyone else ordered lately from MyDish site and had these same issues?

I got double charged for All Out. Ordered it through MyDish, event came, Hopper told me I hadn't ordered it, ordered it through the Hopper. When you order something and when it hits the billing system are not the same, so while my bill showed that I ordered it twice, once the day before the PPV and once the day of the PPV, the days it was billed for was after the event had occured. CS was incredibly unhelpful with this and I could only get the double billing addressed by calling retention.

Not ordering through MyDish anymore, not worth it.

I haven't had any double billing issues. But i know It must have wrong event IDs on the page you go to that shows the events and has the order buttons. I can't order through the hopper as I dont have Phone or Internet hooked to it. But Im wondering if an administrator of the site didn't put the wrong information. It may all have to do with loose ends from rushing to get the site back online after they were hacked. But CS told me on FB Messenger that they would report the problem but claimed they need multiple reports from different people before they look into it. Surely if its doing it to me it has to be doing it to others. Common sense tells you if I order it from the site that its either where I order it or where I receive it. Oddly the confirmation emails had the right information. Just never unlocked the PPVs.. It's dumb and shouldn't be hard for them to figure out.

I little update. I have no clue if the MyDish website was ever fixed. But I did test it with the MyDish App (Android version in my case) and PPV ordered and played fine. Unsure if it ever had problems or if it was just the website. But the App works fine for orders for me.
