Prepaid Dish

hey guys! first post here...

i want to get the prepaid setup. heres the thing. im wondering if i buy just a prepaid receiver, can i use any dish network dish?

also, i see that you can get any package (top 100, top 200, ect.)...but then i hear this talk about you can only get the top 60 or something? whats going on there?

No such package as AT 60 anymore, don't know where you may have "heard" that. Read the info on Dish Network site: DISH Network - Packages - 1.888.825.2557

I guess you can. As long as satellites 119 and 110 are being received since this is where it get's it's info from(119 especially, I think. This may be the satellite where the signal is sent from).

So you can just buy a prepaid receiver and just add it too your setup to supplement your channel lineup if you want.

The packages available to you are:

1. AT Family Pack/AT100/AT200/AT250/plus the 4 Latino packages
2. HBO/Showtime/Cinemax/Starz
3. 3 porno channels
4. Some international programming

NO LOCAL CHANNELS(ABC/CBS/NBC/PBS/CW/Etc...) OR LOCAL RSN(Regional Sports Networks meaning any Fox Sports Channels/MSG/NESN/YES/etc...) ARE AVAILABLE WITH A PREPAID ACCOUNT. \

NO HD or PPV/VOD either.
