Press TV on 97w

Has anyone noticed that Press TV on 97w is coming in blurry? Is there a way to fix this?

It sure is! Look at Al Forat channel, same transponder--clear as a bell. It's the source, not your tv.

DVBdream shows the video resolution as 352x240. Most FTA channels are 704x480.

On Hispasat 30W , Press Tv was also blurry yesterday , I could barely read the fine print. It is a source problem obviously.

On their news channel IRINN I once saw a Sony HD camcorder being used to cover an event, wish they send a better picture quality to North America.

Can you tell me what the resolution is on IRIB2 ? The video doesn't usually look too bad (but the audio could stand an upgrade, I think). The pixelation during fast transitions drives me nuts, though.

For IRIB2 it shows: 720x480 4:2:0 29.9fps VBR:159kbps 4:3
