Just came across this post. This is good news IMO and I hope they follow the same format for Family Room and World Cinema.

The good news for Guy TV is that there will be 3 movies per day.

The bad news is that there will be 3 kung fu movies per day. I like the present format much better.

But even if it means that I stop watching this channel, it is good news that the other movie channels will be airing 3 per day. When the other movie channels become available, it should be a net gain.

So what are VOOM's movie channels: Monsters, World Cinema, Film Fest, Kung Fu, and Family Room? If so, I don't see where VOOM has much choice but to show GuyTV, Vice and Gunslingers material on the Kung Fu channel. Personally, I like the idea of Majestic being morphed to show World Cinema and Film Fest...but I'm sure we won't lose any of the material.

I hate to say this, but perhaps VOOM should just offer a generic Cinema5 group of movie channels and just offer an assortment of 3-4 movies on each per day. Oh well, let's just see how it play out...
