Problem adding 2nd HD Reciever

Need a little advice.

My existing setup is a Dish 1000+ with a DPP44 switch. I have a Vip 622, 2 - 3900's, and a 2700. I just bought a 211k so I can replace the 2700. When I called Dish to try to activate on my account, they told me they could not without sending out a tech. I own all my equipment and have done the install myself and don't have problems with the system.

Can anybody give me an idea what is going on?

Try another rep. I bought my own 211K to replace a 508 and had no problems at all getting them to activate without a tech visit. I have a 722 and 622 on the account as well.
