problem with 2nd receiver hook up to dish 1000

Obvious question here but might've missed it. When you connected the cable with the barrel connector, did you run check switch on the receiver? Go ahead and run check switch 6-1-1 and tell us the results.

Went to setup on 510 and did switch test. Went through 38 tasks. It cameback with INSTALLED SWICH UNKNOWN. NO SWITCHBOX DETECTED.

All points to the barrel connector. The receiver is not detecting the switch and you said that the new cable is rated to 2300 Mhz and we know that it works without that second cable.
