Problem With Windows 10 Tech Preview 10512 On a Lumia 635

I am having all kinds of issues. The first install failed. I tried suing the recovery tool and going back to Windows 8.1 and going from there. Now many of my apps are not showing up in the app list---though the store says that they are installed and will not let install them (or uninstall either).

Does anyone know of a method to rebuild the app list or restore from a backup (I know how to do it at reset but was hoping to avoid that)

Or should I just start all over again---or give up on WP?

Attempts to get support from Microsoft are not working I just keep being told to try a definite forum.

I gave up. I am back to windows 8.1. No 10 for me for now but I got back all nut one app and that I was able to reinstall.
