There's a lot to love about the Treo 650, and most people who have it have no problems with it. However, there are a lot of us who have had tremendous problems with it just restarting itself a few times a day. Well, I recently found the solution, and PalmOne also sent out a confirmation - so I thought I would post the solution in case you haven't heard about it.
The bottom line is that the problem was caused by two things: 1) the new memory management flaws, and 2) a design flaw in the tray holding the phone SIM card that left the card a little loose, thus causing the restarts and reboots.
The solution is to 1) update your Treo firmware, and 2) call PalmOne and insist that they send you a new tray.
Once you do those two things, you'll understand why those who have no trouble with their Treos love them so much.
