Professional help with international dish

I live in apartment in Minneapolis ( zip code 55418) and it faces south east although I can probably also get south from my patio. I need to get Indian channels and I can go with either dish network ( preferably) or direct tv. iCan someone guide on which one should I go with and how do I get help from some local professional installer for the same?
