Protect recordings

I protected a couple of recordings that I have already viewed to see what would happen and they were deleted...I'm guessing this is not supposed to happen...

Like the 622 its supposed to ask for a password correct???

I would think that is what it's supposed to do, however it does not...

I think that protected recordings will only ask for a password when you go to delete them if the system is locked. I could be wrong. Also, protected recordings will prevent the system from automatically deleting them when the drive gets full or the maximum # of episodes for that timer is reached, regardless of the system lock setting.

That is how it is supposed to work but on the Hopper you can delete a protected recording even when the system is locked.
