Protecting recordings causing error

Tonight I decided to protect recordings on several shows. When I went to playback these shows I protected, a playback has finished message popped up. I tried to unprotect the recording to see if that was the issue, and it still produced that error. Have these protected recordings been corrupted? Is there any way I can get these to play back again?

I should point out I have a Hopper with Sling.

Have you tried unplugging the receiver for 15 seconds to reset it?

That didn't work. Looks like another Hopper glitch. Every recording I protected appears to be corrupted now.

Does an error message show at all or is it just the 'playback has ended' message? How many recording were affected and did they work before?

No error message. Just says playback has ended. All recordings worked before I decided to protect them. Once I did that, it started giving me that message on those recordings.

How many (ish) recordings had this? Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to fix them
