PS3- MotorStorm 3D Rift

This is now a download from the PS3 store and I tried out the free version. Anyone with a PS3 on their 3D systems needs to spend some time with this one. It is really good in 3D. Best of all its free!

I downloaded a few other new 3D games from the store and will try them out later. All are free for the demo version.

I'm having lots of fun with the free version. What extra do I get with the $ version? I'm guessing just custom vehicles for starters

Have you tried to drive up some of the barricades and flip the car yet? The crashes in 3D are really fun! I wedged the car between two trees. Drive into the lake or get behind the cars throwing mud at you in 3D.

I see Sony has a bunch of them up there now. Free demos that are really fun and $9.99 download for full versions. They have another race track driving game that is real high speed and an asteroid blasting game. Destroy the asteroid before it crashes into the planet sort of game. This one is kinda short on the free demo.

Thanks Don. I downloaded the demo last night and have been playing it non stop, I'll go ahead and purchase the full version. Only thing I don't care for is nit having a phycial copy. Aside from music, I'm a physical media guy, and as strange as it sounds I'd rather pay $60 for the game on disc then $10 for a digital download.

Steve- you don't need to explain. I appreciate the risk of losing the digital game only. Hard copy is always a safe backup. However, in this case the cost is the incentive. Odds of a hard drive crash in the next 2 years? cost of having to buy it again? Finally, what are the odds that the game is just so old you don't play it anymore because there are bigger and better uses of your time? Those are the things to consider.

Let me know how the $10 version is $10 better than the free version. Be sure to try the other demos too.

BTW- so far I have rented quite a few of the Move games and none of them makes me want to buy. Just did "The Shoot" really awful! Tron was good for 3D but the Move was poorly implemented. So far the best of Move games was the table tennis that came free with the Move kit. However, the Kinect table tennis is much much better. I think the Move wand just doesn't work right. Maybe it's my installation.
