PTAT and recording series?

If I use the &quot;Record Series&quot; option within PTAT, is the series recording going to become independent of PTAT and use another tuner, or will PTAT just automatically move the weekly recording of this program to a series folder of saved programs?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">By default, the extra recording of a PTAT channel will be skipped and after the expire time you can use the PTAT version. I protect those recordings in hopes they don&#039;t disappear too soon.<br /> -Ken</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">PTAT does nothing different in this scenario. What happens is the receiver basically does a &quot;Save a copy&quot; step. <br /> <br /> Does a show one does this on appear in the PTAT folder and the regular DVR folder?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Yes it does and can get a bit confusing at times, at least it does for me.</div>
