Pulsing brightness level on HD Discovery

Has anyone noticed a sawtooth brightness level on the HD Discovery channel?
I first noticed it on Saturday. The brightness drops a bit then ramps back up. The cycle repeats about once every second. I'm viewing through a model 6000 and It doesn't appear to be on the CBS HD channel (61.5) or my off-air HD locals.

I have not noticed this on my 811. I watch an alaska show the other day that was amazing... No Diming effect.

That sounds like some kind of MacroVision copy protection (???) You can get a similar effect if you run the output of your DVD player into your VCR. Are you possibly doing something similar with your wiring out of your sat receiver? Is there copy protection on sat signals? I have no idea, except that the effects you're seeing sure sound like something MacroVision would do.

It happened on a recording on my 921. I thought it might be the recording but since you noticed it while watching it live, I guess it was a problem with the actual signal.
