I have installed the SATA hard drive and I am successfully recording and then viewing various programs.
One program in particular is of interest to a friend.
Is there any way of copying a file stored on the SATA drive to something external like a usb memory stick ?

If you have AXBox SMB (SAMBA) networking configured and running, the file should be visible under "My Network Places" on your PC. You can just Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste. The file will be in transport stream (.ts) format.
