QPH-031 Question

Hey Ice, PSB, or anyone

Got my QPH 031 on the dish with a coolsat 4X switch. Seems I am only able to scan in V or H xponders. can't seem to get L or R (circular). The Coolsat Pro 4000 only lists V or H in the manual scan menu.

When I blind scan I pick up a ton of channels, but most are scrambled, and all channels only show V or H none show L or R. What am I missing here?

Tried to manually add xponder 12370 sr 4130 on 119 to try & get NASA TV 9 (someone a few posts ago posted this as a good one for NASA TV) , but don't even get a signal. SR 20000 will get good signal & quality, but comes up with scrambled channels when I scan it, and they're either V or H.

For Left hand polarity use Horizontal.

For Right hand use Vertical.

So...I guess that the scans I'm getting are OKif thats the case. Where does that little bit of knowledge come from? I sure missed it...sorry I'm so lame

PS: Oh yeah, almost forgot to thank for the speedy shipment on the LNB.

The satellite receiver kicks out 13/18v depending on what polarity its set on, that switches the LNB from H to V (L to R)........ H=18v V= 13v
