Quarter 3, 2022 Report

Their costs go up, so our bills go up.
Yep, but their fees are created by them and as they did recently, they can be reduced. Like when they took the price down to $5.00, if you owned the additional receiver or joey. When you are losing subs at this rate, I think they need to look at ways to reduce the cost so they retain the customer.

Sum total is what counts. Lowering receiver fees and raising plan fees maybe not so good. You have more channels, or more boxes, it’s only fair you pay more.
Except they should provide options so you can avoid the box fee, Comcast and Charter both do ( and have more subscribers then Dish, especially Comcast at 15 million), they both provide a app that turns a Roku into a cable box, so you receive the channels via broadband, all at no charge.

Then of course, you have services like YouTube TV, up to 3 without a extra charge.

One way or another, they are going to have to charge about the same, as they cannot play games with their providers.
